Avropa İttifaqı (Aİ) dünya arenasında təsirini artırmaq istəyirsə, daha müstəqil bir qurum halına gəlməlidir.

Trend "İnterfaks"a istinadən xəbər verir ki, bunu Avropa Şurasının rəhbəri Şarl Mişel Aİ ölkələrinin Sloveniyada görüşü zamanı bildirib.

O deyib: "Dünya arenasında daha təsirli və nüfuzlu olmaq üçün Aİ-nin müstəqil hərəkət etmək qabiliyyətini gücləndirməsi lazımdır. Fəaliyyətdə müstəqillik iqtisadiyyat, müdafiə və təhlükəsizlik sahələrində özünü göstərməlidir".

Ş.Mişel xatırladıb ki, Aİ diplomatiyasının rəhbəri Cosep Borrel 2021-ci ilin noyabrında müdafiə və təhlükəsizlik sahəsində strateji inkişaf planı ilə bağlı layihəni təqdim edəcək. Sənədin nəzərdən keçirilməsindən sonra 2022-ci ilin iyununda Aİ liderlərinin bunu təsdiqləyəcəyi gözlənilir.

Avropa Şurasının rəhbəri Aİ-nin enerji, kiber təhlükəsizlik və ticarət kimi sahələrdə digər tərəflərdən asılılığının azaldılmasının vacibliyini də vurğulayıb.
